NetDocuments Work Inspired Scholarships // NetDocuments & Scholarship America

This scholarship is available to minority students nationally. Applicants must be high school seniors, graduates or current college undergraduates planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study for 2022-23, and have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

Rita’s First-Gen Scholarship // Bold.org

Amount: $33,688

Deadline: July 1, 2022

This scholarship aims to help all first-generation college students in America. Many first-generation students struggle to attain the funds needed to attend a post-secondary education, so this scholarship aims to help. One student will be awarded over just over $31,000 for school.

Unigo $10k Scholarship // Unigo

There are a lot of easy scholarships out there, but for $10,000, this one doesn’t get any easier. All you have to do is answer one short prompt (250 words or less). Unigo is asking the question, “Would you rather be smart, funny or rich? Why?” Answer this question and be entered in to win a $10,000 scholarship!

Google Scholarships // Google

Amount: Up to $10,000

Deadline: Varies

This past year Google has hosted a few scholarships which include the Generation Google Scholarship, Google Lime Scholarship, and more. Multiple scholarships are available, Google Scholarships are open now with rotating deadlines.

Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund // Shawn Carter Foundation

Amount: $10,000

The Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund (SCSF) offers scholarships to students who demonstrate resiliency in the face of hardship and give back to their communities. Scholarship recipients can use the money to cover tuition expenses and related educational expenses, and are also able to re-apply yearly, from admission to graduation! All Shawn Carter Scholars are required to “give back” by conducting community service and serving as mentors to younger, aspiring Shawn Carter Scholars.

The Esperanza Education Fund provides scholarships to students from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC who are immigrants or the children of immigrants.

Davis-Putter Scholarship // Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund

Applicants must write a 1,000 word essay about their experience with progressive social activity, as well as their long-term goals and how they plan to achieve them. A complete application, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and a completed FAFSA must also be submitted.

Horatio Alger State Scholarship // Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans

Amount: $10,000

This scholarship is available to high school juniors in all 50 states who have critical financial need. applicants must “exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States,” and must have a GPA over 2.0.

Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship // Microsoft

Amount: $20,000 over 4 years OR a one-time $2,500 scholarship
Deadline: March 15, 2022

To be considered for this scholarship, students must be a Black high school senior with plans to attend a 4-year university immediately following their high school graduation. Students must plan to pursue their Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or select business programs – and have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 and over.

Women at Microsoft Scholarship // Microsoft

Amount: $20,000 over 4 years OR a one-time $2,500 scholarship
Deadline: March 12, 2022

High-school senior women and non-binary people who plan to attend vocational school or college to pursue a career in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) are eligible for this scholarship. Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Foundation 649 Scholarship // Foundation 649

Amount: $4,000 over the course of 4 years
Deadline: March 1, 2022

This scholarship is for Asian American/Pacific Islander students. Applicants must write a 1,000 word essay to be considered.

Young Women in STEM Scholarship // Bold.org

Amount: $10,000
Deadline: March 1, 2022

Women make up only 27% of workers in STEM workplaces, and this scholarship aims to boost representation of women in this field. Three young women who aim to pursue a STEM major will be rewarded $10,000 each.

Mcdonald’s x Roland S. Martin Scholarship // Thurgood Marshall College Fund

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) are offering a scholarship up to $15,000 to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

$50,000 No Essay Scholarship // Niche

Gordon A. Rich Memorial Scholarship // Gordon A. Rich Memorial Foundation

The GAR Foundation awards up to seven scholarships worth $12,500 per year for a total of $50,000. Applicants parents and/or legal guardians must have/had a career in the financial services industry, defined as banks, investment banks, securities brokerage firms, insurance companies, fund and asset management companies, credit card and finance companies and similar businesses.

McDonald’s HACER National Scholarship // McDonald’s

In 1985, McDonalds created the McDonald’s HACER Program to assist Hispanic students as they pursue their higher education goals. The McDonald’s HACER National Scholarship is an outstanding opportunity for students who have a least one parent of Hispanic heritage. Scholarships are worth $25,000 per year. As long as award winners are in good standing, scholarships are for all four years!

BTL Athletes Scholarship // Bold.org

BTL Industries is focused on strengthening and empowering individuals based on the values of teamwork, trust, and building others up. Through this scholarship, five separate winners will be awarded $15,000 each. Applicants should be a varsity-level athlete or college athlete, and submit a 2-5 minute video speaking on how this scholarship would help them fulfill their dreams and aspirations.

Terry Crews “Creative Courage” Scholarship // Bold.org

Amount: $20,000

Terry Crews and Bold.org have come together to create a scholarship aimed towards helping struggling artists. One scholarship winner will be awarded $20,000 that can be used towards their artistic development and education.

EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship Program //National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

Amount: $45,000

The EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship provides funds for two years of undergraduate study to rising junior undergraduate students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields that directly support NOAA’s mission. Participants conduct research at a NOAA facility during two paid summer internships.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program // Jackie Robinson Foundation

The Jackie Robinson Foundation aims to help graduating minority seniors get to college and succeed. Winners will be awarded up to $30,000 based on financial need, academic excellence, and more.

Taco Bell Live Mas Scholarship // Taco Bell Foundation

The Live Mas Scholarship believes that the youth have the drive to change the world. This scholarship opens up this Fall but is open to all students who are pursuing a secondary education. To enter, you’ll have to submit a 2-minute video answering a few of their questions.

Ron Brown Scholar Program // Ron Brown Foundation

Amount: Up to $40,000
Deadline: January 9, 2022

The Ron Brown Scholar Program is open to Black/African American students who are well-rounded and excelling in their studies. Scholarship winners will be awarded up to $40,000 over 4 years ($10,000/year), and receive support and mentorship.

Unigo $10,000 Annual Scholarship // Unigo

Amount: $10,000
Deadline: December 31, 2022

A pretty simple scholarship with a big payout. For this scholarship, all you have to do is answer a simple question in 250 words or less. Answer the question, “Imagine a historical figure is brought back to life. Who is it? What’s their favorite mobile app?” Start thinking of who you’d bring back and what apps they’ll use and get to writing!

5 Strong Scholarship // 5StrongScholars

Amount: Full Tuition
Deadline: December 31, 2022

5Strong, partnering with many HBCUs, hopes to increase retention and graduation rates for students attending HBCUs. Through this scholarship program, five students will be given support over the course of their college career to ensure persistence and graduation in four years.

Footlocker Scholar Athletes // Footlocker

Amount: Up to $20,000
Deadline: December 17, 2022

The Footlocker Scholar Athletes program comes back every year. Each year, 20 high school seniors who are exceptional leaders on their sports teams will be awarded up to $20,000 that will go toward their college education.

Burger King Scholars Program // Burger King Foundation

Amount: Up to $50,000
Deadline: December 15, 2022

Burger King offers a similar scholarship every year where students are eligible to win anywhere between $1,000-$50,000 for school. This scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, grades, and financial need. Winners will be selected from both general students as well as Burger King employees.

Dell Scholars Program // Dell

Amount: $20,000
Deadline: December 1, 2022

The Dell Scholars program was designed to provide a support system for the challenges many students face while pursuing a degree. 500 winners will be awarded $20,000 as well as year-round support to help them succeed in college.

Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship Program // Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

Amount: Up to $55,000 per year
Deadline: November 18, 2022

The Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship Program opens up every year and offers up to $55,000 per year to students who will be attending an accredited college/university.

Most Valuable Student Scholarship // Elks National Foundation 

Amount: Up to $12,500 per year
Deadline: November 15, 2022

Students pursuing a 4-year degree can apply to this scholarship by the Elks National Foundation. They will be awarding 500 students scholarships for four years, ranging from $1,000 to $12,500. The top 20 scholarship applicants will participate in an all-expenses paid trip to Elks National Foundation’s Leadership Weekend, where they are eligible to win even more money for college.

National College Match Scholarship // QuestBridge

Amount: $200,000

Deadline: September 28, 2022

Match Scholarship Recipients are granted early admission to one of QuestBridge’s college partners with a full four-year scholarship, worth over $200,000.
