FLEX High is launching a Civic Literacy & Media Influence Fellowship with the first cohort starting Monday, July 19.
Four to six current students and/or alumni will be selected by a panel to participate in the paid Fellowship program.
In this paid position, students/alums will be mentored by Charles Ellison, an award-winning analyst for WURD Radio, former SiriusXM Channel host, panelist on such shows as MSNBC’s Hardball.
Candidates aged 16-22 must complete the application by July 1, have a 2.75 or higher GPA, and must be currently enrolled for at least one semester, or have graduated from FLEX High School. They must have strong writing skills and a letter of recommendation from their supervising teacher, counselor or principal.
