What is Personalized Learning?
Personalized Learning is an educational approach that involves tailoring each student’s academic experience to their learning style, individual needs and interests. Personalized learning embraces the voice of the student and drives academic and post-graduation success through unbiased support and access to resources needed to reach their goals. Educators are concerned that they are not engaging with Gen Z students. We need to keep in mind that teens value authenticity and personalization. Above all, Gen Z students want to be treated as individuals.

Yes – and it’s a proven model known as Personalized Learning.
No two students are alike, so educators shouldn’t require them to learn in the same way. The more we can tailor instruction to the individual student, the more they are engaged in their learning and more likely to succeed in their studies. Whether one-on-one, in small group learning or by free tutoring, learning plans should be tailored to each student for optimal learning outcomes. Personalized Learning Month recognizes, promotes and supports the practice of teaching students in the way that each learns best.

Allows students to quickly move ahead with subjects they have mastered and spend a bit more time on subjects with which they struggle

Learning is not linear. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching and learning.
